The instructor
Known as “Dr. Deep Sea”. Retired U.S. Navy commander, biomedical engineer, hyperbaric researcher and author of The Art and Science of Hyperbaric Medicine.

Two routes
The training prepares you for two separate certifications from the International Board of Undersea Medicine. You choose your route when you register.
For chamber operators, hyperbaric technicians and support staff.
Prerequisite: current CPR/AED qualification and initial first responder training or equivalent.
For licensed providers integrating HBOT into their practice.
Prerequisite: licence as ND, DC, MD, DO, NP, ARNP, PA or a board-approved equivalent.
You are also welcome without any certification intent — select “Attendance only” in the registration form.
Structure
From the physical principle through the engineering to application with people — each day ends where the next one starts.
Days 1 to 3 in the seminar room, day 4 at the chamber. Provisional programme; exact times will be confirmed with your booking confirmation.
The price
That is €2,898.32 net plus €550.68 VAT. Because the event takes place in Munich, German VAT applies to every participant — including bookings from outside Germany.
Examination and certification
After the training you can sit the independent examination of the International Board of Undersea Medicine. You register and pay directly with IBUM — not through AionX.

Waiting list
All fifteen seats are taken. Join the waiting list and we will contact you personally as soon as a seat opens up, in order of registration. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
The cancellation schedule in § 12 of our terms applies. You may name a substitute participant free of charge at any time. Consumers additionally have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal from conclusion of the contract; the full instructions are in our terms and in your booking confirmation.
We reserve the right to cancel the training if the minimum number of participants is not reached or for good cause. In that case we refund the full amount. Changes to the programme and instructors remain reserved.
The IBUM examination is independent of this training and is administered and graded by IBUM alone. Attendance does not guarantee a passing result. The USD 200 examination fee is not included in the price.
